Registration or activation problem
After registering, you should receive an activation email from noreply@dxwatch.com. Check your spam or junk folder and add this address to your email provider’s allowlist. Some email providers may reject or silently discard DXwatch messages. If the activation email still does not arrive, try registering with an address from another provider. An unconfirmed registration is automatically deleted after 24 hours. Once that happens, you can register again and verify the new account within 24 hours. If you received an activation link but it does not work, please contact us with your callsign and a description of the error.Change my callsign
A callsign cannot be changed through the account settings. Please create a new DXwatch account using your new callsign. If the new callsign is already registered—possibly by its previous holder—or you cannot create the new account, contact us and include both your previous and new callsigns.Change my email
Sign in and open User → User Settings to change the email address associated with your account. If you can no longer access your registered email address and cannot sign in, contact us with your callsign, previous email address, and new email address. After your address is updated, you can recover your password at dxwatch.com/forgot-password.Change my QTH or profile
Sign in and open User → User Settings to update your grid locator and other profile information. Some map and location information is obtained from QRZ.com. Update your information there first and allow a few hours—or occasionally a few days—for the change to appear on DXwatch.Reverse Beacon Network problem
You do not need a DXwatch account to be spotted by Reverse Beacon Network skimmers. Your transmission must use accurately timed CW and be strong enough for a participating skimmer to decode it. To download the RBN Aggregator, visit the Aggregator page. For assistance installing a receiving node, configuring Aggregator or CW Skimmer, or troubleshooting an existing node, join the RBN-OPS mailing list. The RBN community can provide more specialized help. Historical RBN observations are also available from the raw data archive.Report self-spotting, abuse, or an incorrect spot
DXwatch is one of many nodes connected to the worldwide DX cluster network. Fake, abusive, or incorrect spots may originate from another cluster node and then propagate across the entire network. Consequently, a spot displayed by DXwatch was not necessarily submitted through DXwatch. When reporting a spot, please include:- The spotter’s callsign
- The spotted callsign
- Frequency
- Date and UTC time
- The spot comment
- A screenshot, if available
